Objectives of Workstations
Workstation 1: The I-DSD/I-CAH/I-TS registries (SDMregistries)

Participants will have the opportunity to work online during the workshop to navigate the Registry. The research potential of the Registry will be highlighted with an overview of past and present activities.. If you have a Wi-Fi enabled laptop, please bring it

Workstation 2: DSD Diagnostics

Participants will be able to exchange ideas about the diagnostic approach to DSD in this case-based workshop. Advantages and pitfalls of different diagnostic tests will be discussed
Workstation 3: Communication with patients and parents

Facilitator: Dr Anna Strandqvist, Stockholm, Sweden
Participants will discuss their experiences of what works well, and does not work, when discussing DSD with parents of recently diagnosed children. Cultural differences will be considered. Particular topics of discussion will include: illness uncertainty and stigma.
Workstation 4: Hormone replacement

Facilitator: Prof Aneta Gawlik, Katowice, Poland
In this workshop we will discuss current approaches to pubertal induction and sex hormone replacement to sustain puberty. Participants will have opportunity to exchange their experience on various hormone replacement protocols and used, also off-label, preparations.
