The Training Toolkit for Health Professionals in DSD is a new initiative from the Learning & Training Committee to provide a suggested structure and curriculum to the training of healthcare professionals in the management of conditions that may be associated with Disorders/Differences of Sex Development. The aims of the toolkit are:
- To improve patient care in the long-term
- To increase healthcare professional knowledge and confidence with DSD conditions
- To allow an individualised approach to training whilst encouraging certain minimum standards
- To provide a focus for educational activities delivered by the Learning & Training Committee
