Although there is no fee for submitting an application, there is a Launch Fee for new studies and ongoing study support fees. The level of ongoing support will vary depending on the complexity of the study. Please contact us to discuss the fees before submitting your Data Access Application. A 50% discount to the Launch Fee is applicable if the project and the lead applicant is led :-
– At a centre where the project leads to the completion of a postgraduate research and a research degree (PhD/Masters)
– At a centre that is located in a Low Middle Income Country
– At a centre that is seeking data from SDMregistries for the first time
– At a centre that was awarded a Research Participation Award at the last biennial meeting of I-DSD (2024)
– By a current member of the SDMregistries Learning and Training Committee, Care Quality Improvement Committee or Data Access Committee
And/or if the project meets the following criteria:-
– Primary outcome in the following fields: fertility, psychosocial health, quality of life and sexual function
– Strong evidence of patient and public engagement
In addition, based on the judgment of the DAC, one approved application per round will be eligible for a full waiver of the Launch Fee.
Survey-only projects
For projects that solely perform a survey of participating centres (i.e., no request for extraction or transfer of patient-level registry data), the Launch Fee does not apply.
However, support fee will be charged to cover administrative and coordination support provided by the SDMregistries team. Please contact us to discuss the fees before submitting your Survey Application.
