Some of the studies that are performed using data from the registries are labelled as care quality improvement projects as their main purpose is to improve care by understanding the reasons for variation. These projects are overseen by the CQI Committee and some of these CQI projects also provide feedback to individual centres through individualised centre-specific reports.
