The 4th International-DSD Symposium was held on 7th-9th June 2013 at the University of Glasgow. Almost 200 people participated in the Symposium and enjoyed talks and posters presented by experts in the field of DSD from all corners of the globe. The DSD Investigators workshop held prior to the start of the symposium was also well attended. Feedback received so far has been very positive and encouraging.
Parents and patients were encouraged to participate in the full programme of the meeting and they also held a parallel workshop supported by the Yokhill Children’s Charity. This workshop allowed the development of a list of priorities for the future which will be taken forward by this group. The Glasgow Working Group is open to contribution from all professionals, parents and affected people.
