The 7th I-DSD symposium held in Sao Paulo from 4th-6th July 2019 was a great success. Over 160 participants from 22 countries enjoyed presentations by invited speakers and oral and poster communications over 3 days. New features in the programme included a lunchtime ‘Difficult Case Discussion’, a Personal Experience presentation by a patient and a debate on the use of the term ‘Disorders of Sex Development’ which brought the symposium to a close.
100 abstracts were submitted of which 26 were selected for oral communications and 74 asposters. Prizes, sponsored by Karger, were awarded for best presentations in the following categories:
